Trestle Bike Park is the United States’ largest full service downhill bike park, with an array of trail options for the beginner to the expert.
Located in the heart of downtown Winter Park, and only a five-minute walk from Lions Rock you will find Hideaway Park which includes an amphitheater, skateboard park and kid’s play area. Enjoy free concerts every Thursday night throughout the summer, Fitness in the Park, arts & crafts fairs, beer & wine festivals and holiday celebrations throughout the year. There are excellent options nearby for golf, boating, fishing, paddle boarding, rafting and more.
Winter Park is just over 65 miles from Denver, making access a breeze. If you wish, you can take the Winter Park Express train service during ski season from Denver for a stress-free scenic ride to your mountain paradise. Starting in 2026 the Mountain Train Initiative will begin running daily round trip trains to Granby with the service expanding to five trips daily and stops in Winter Park & Fraser.
While it may seem as though this vibrant, incredible community could not be improved upon, Winter Park’s ownership is doing just that with planned terrain expansions, improved snow making capacity, new lifts, a ski-back trail to the town, visitor mobility improvements, additional on-mountain dining options and they are making excellent progress on the future *gondola for simple connectivity from the town of Winter Park to the resort.
